Invoices and receipts, rendered from the record

Invoices, payment receipts and credit notes now render as PDFs from one server-side endpoint. Preview in the browser, print at the desk and the file a patient downloads are the same bytes from the same source facts.

What prints

• The hospital's legal name, address and GSTIN, from organization settings.
• Every charge as it was priced at the time — catalog and tax facts are snapshotted onto the charge, so a later price change never rewrites an old bill.
• Patient names in Devanagari where that is how they were registered.

What does not

A payment receipt is never labelled as the itemized bill; they are different documents with different requirements. And until the pilot's chartered accountant signs off on classifications, the itemized document carries the neutral label Invoice and makes no Tax Invoice or Bill of Supply claim. We would rather print less than print something we cannot yet stand behind.

Corrections

An issued invoice is immutable. A discount after issue is a credit note; money returned is a refund. The trail shows what happened, not only the final number.
